Synopsis

Set in rural China. Film Wang is a local film projectionist, who shows old black-and-white films in the villages. He is married with three daughters, and when he breaks his leg, the family rally round and carry on his projection work. However, when they move to a village further away Film is secuded by a local cafe owner, risking his marriage.
