Synopsis

Qin Fen (Ge You)  as a middle-aged bachelor. Having made an instant fortune, Qin decides to find a good mate and leave behind his single life. He puts up his matrimonial notice on the internet, and then begins his endless blind dates , and most participants seem not serious or far away from what he expected. Like a graveyard salesman, gay, unwed mother, sexually frigid etc . One day, he meets a charming flight attendant named Smiley (Hsu Chi) . Smiley is so melancholy that Qin initially recognizes there’s no chemistry between them at all. Then the two commiserate over drinks, where Smiley reveals that she’s dating a married man. But the man doesn’t dare to end his current marriage to marry her. Qin Fen also tells a heartbreaking story about his true love. After pouring out each other’s secrets, the two intend never to meet again, with each returning to their own pursuits. But destiny seems intent on having fun with them. The two meet again on an airline flight with Smiley working, Qin Fen traveling. The coincidence draws Qin Fen and Smiley back together. But Smiley still can not end up her unattainable love. The two take a tour to Japan and Qin Fen’s sincerity and affection finally comfort Smiley’s wounded heart . (Credit : China Radio International)
