Synopsis

Buddha Mountain is about a group of young people who share a house, all tryign to find love in their desperate and chaotic lives. In chengdu, china, a retired female opera singer named master chang takes in a trio of young tenants into her boarding home. The tenants include a rock singer and a college student who has run away from home.The trio make a trip to countryside and visit an abandoned and badly damaged guan yin buddha temple located on the hill. They decide to rebuild the temple together as they all struggle to build their own happiness.
