Synopsis
“Lost” centers on a 19-year-old migrant worker from an inland village. Dreaming of becoming a metropolitan citizen, the girl, Baihe, works in a Shenzhen bakery. Later, she becomes pregnant to a container truck driver from Hong Kong but the man soon disappears. Baihe looks for him every day at Huanggang Checkpoint. After she gives birth to a baby boy, she finds her son has a serious heart ailment and needs an operation.
