Synopsis

Yilong (Wu Chun) and Erkui (Han Geng) became apprentices of the opera star Master yu Shengying (Yuen Biao) when they were Young orphans. Years later, the boys go to Shanghai on a mission but instead they become sensations of the shanghai opera scene along with the beautiful actress Xi mulan (Barbie Hsu), the protege and lover of their master's enemy Yue. But soon, their collective pasts catch up with them and all three ends up in a complex web of love, lust, deceit and betrayal, ultimately ending in tragedy.
