Synopsis

Lord Xin Ling (Feng Shaofeng) was the son of King Zhao of Wei , and the most influential of The Four Lords of the Warring States . He falls in love with the beautiful Ru Ji (Yang Mi) , but she ends up marrying his older half-brother, King Anxi of Wei . Ru Ji become one of the notable women in history , who aids her brother in-law , Lord Xinling. The two variously commit or abet theft , deception , conspiracy , treason , all in the name of patriotism.
