Synopsis

In 1949 , the CPC army effectively smashed the backbone of the KMT Army , and the Nationalist position was extremely bleak. A female spy of CCP , Huang Liwen (Wan Qian) returned to Shanghai to commemorate the death of her husband . She is reunited with her twin brothers , Qiao Zhicai and Qiao Lijie (Chen Kun) , who plays an important role in Liwen's mission .
